My Story
Jewellery has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.
I was just twelve years old when I first began helping my father in his jewellery shop in Barbican. What started as small tasks soon became a fascination with craftsmanship, detail, and the emotion people attach to the pieces they wear every day.
As I grew older, I went on to refine my skills working with some of the most recognised names in the industry, including Tiffany and Goldsmiths. These experiences taught me the highest standards of design, quality, and customer care. But they also revealed something important.
Many clients were searching for something more personal.
Not just beautiful jewellery, but jewellery that meant something.
Something that reflected their story.
In 2009, I created Avita — inspired by vita, the Latin word for life — with a simple belief: jewellery should become part of your life story, not just a moment of purchase.
